About Grape Trade
Grape Trade is a new online service which allows New Zealand grape growers to list grapes for buyers nationwide to bid on. Grape Trade at first looks like a normal auction site, but has a few unique points of difference.
Bidding: Limited time offers.
A bid is an offer to a seller, valid for a limited time. This allows buyers to make offers more easily, as they themselves set the date at which they need to know whether they have grapes coming, or need to make another bid.
Bidding: Not just money.
A bid includes all transaction terms and conditions. This lets the seller compare offers easily, and pick whichever suits their needs best.
Bidding: Staying competitive, but keeping privacy.
All bids are anonymous to everyone except the seller. The bid details can be viewed by other buyers who have shown interest in the listing, but can not see who has made the bid (or if that user has bid before). This lets buyers compete with the market, without giving up your privacy as a business.
Direct Communication:
After a buyer has shown interest in a listing, Grape Trade encourages both parties to communicate freely. This means both parties know who they're dealing with, and there's no confusion from a man in the middle.
Selling: Easily managed.
A listing details all the important information about the grapes, including documents like SWNZ certificate and a Spray Diary. This means you can spend less time sending the same information to prospective buyers, while buyers can find all the information they need at the click of a button.
Selling: Know your Buyer.
Grape Trade's Terms and Conditions allow Sellers to credit check prospective buyers that have made a bid on their listing, with no extra legal documents needed.
Grape Trade gives buyers confidence in the market price, sellers access to more potential buyers, and a simplified buying-selling experience for both.
Grape Trade was released Jan 2017. If you have any questions, comments or complaints please contact us.
